Royal Thai Police received IT Excellency Award
Bangkok, November 5, 2008 – Central Information Technology Center, Royal Thai Police received 2008 IT Excellency Award from ICT minister, Dr. Man Pattanotai, from using an effective solution, SRAN Security Center, in an organization.The role of Central Information Technology Center (PITC) is to support, manage and develop IT network, data center and computer system for Royal Thai Police. Also, PITC has to work closely with Ministry of ICT, Ministry of Interior and other government sectors. In the past, Royal Thai Police faced problem of network and website hacking, several times a month. PITC decided to use SRAN Security Center to monitor and secure its network as well as recording log files in compliance with Thailand’s Computer Crime Act. SRAN solution helps increase productivity, secure the network and comply with the law. PITC also satisfies with the good support, both implement and maintenance, from SRAN support team.
