ARAK Internet Security is an antivirus software that includes an Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) system. It enhances the protection of computers against cybersecurity threats, offering comprehensive security measures to detect, respond to, and mitigate various forms of cyber attacks.
Protects against infections from viruses, malware, ransomware, spyware, and adware during internet usage.
1. Filtering:
Filters inappropriate websites, supporting Thai language filtering for both HTTP and HTTPS. Detects phishing sites and fake news. Blocks websites unsuitable for minors, such as gambling, pornography, and drug-related sites. Filters search results through Google, Bing, and YouTube with SafeSearch. Screens inappropriate hashtags on social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter.
Acts as a personal firewall on computers. Utilizes threat intelligence databases from multiple reliable sources, including local Thai databases. Prevents virus downloads from cloud storage services like Google Drive, OneDrive, and Dropbox. Blocks advertising websites and scripts that track users (adware and spyware). Prevents access to domains associated with malware, trojans, backdoors, ransomware, and command-and-control servers (C&C). Provides real-time malware scanning, detecting abnormal files and applications on the system.
ARAK Content Filtering is a module within ARAK designed to prevent access to inappropriate websites. It includes six categories: Malware, Porn, Phishing/Fake News, Adware, Keyword, Social, Gambling The system supports domains with Thai-language names as well.
The software is supported by the Cybersecurity Innovation Promotion Association (CIPAT) and was developed in collaboration with the SRAN team. It provides content filtering capabilities for inappropriate internet usage, supporting the Thai language and keywords to protect children and youth from accessing unsuitable content online. It supports Windows 10 and 11.
